Restart instead of Shut Down

More information would be helpful. The computer is restarting instead of shutting down? What happens if you use the power button to shutdown?

Can you explain this?

Try booting into the Safe Mode, which resets some things. Shutdown from there, if possible.

Other than this problem, is the computer operating normally?

Yes I can shut down pressing power bottom.
Everything is working fine, except for when I try to shut down on command it restarts.
I did shut down from Safe Mode and it did not work; it restarts instead of shut down.
