Q: I tried watching my apple tv but the only thing that appears on my tv screen is the apple logo and the led light keeps blinking on and off

I am having this exact same issue this morning.  Went to bed last night, everything was fine.  Woke up this morning to this issue.  Tried factory reset with the remote to no avail.  Plan on trying to restore with a micro usb and iTunes today.  Will keep you updated.

MMy apple tv does the same thinking just blinking. Please let me know how to fix it

You will need to restore it on a computer using iTunes.

I tried that as well as holding down the menu and 'down' buttons simultaneously on the remote until the LED blinks rapidly - that didn't solve the "no signal" problem.

I had the same issue this AM. You will need to carry out the restore option as mentioned above. Keep the unit powered on and connect to you PC or Mac and open iTunes. Once iTunes recognizes the Apple TV unit just follow the steps for the restore option. Takes some time, apprx. 20 minutes, but it solves the problem. Once you hook it back to the TV give it time to reset itself and then re-nter your Apple ID etc.

It wouldn't work! The PC or iMac wouldn't recognize the Apple TV!

I have the same issue, I have followed all of the above already and nothing.  ATV refuses to recognise my Apple ID and password

I Keep restoring and still have the issue...

I used iphone personal hotspot.  Connect via that, then you can revert to router and all is fixed.
