I think I just got a virus on my Iphone 6. How do I check if I have one, and if I do, how do I remove it?
My iphone is currently running on iOS 8.2. I was checking a website with a friend of mine, and accidently entered a popup-website. I then got a popupsaying: "you're iphone have a virus. press OK to controll". I pressed OK, then shut down both of the websites and proceeded to turn of my wifi connection. Now what?
It is very unlikely that you got a virus. Normally it is a site that wants you to buy some antivirus program. Just check if your phone is working normally

You don't. No viruses exist that run on iOS. Let common sense rule.
That popup is a scam. There is no way anyone on the web can tell the status of your iPhone.
What they said, but I recommend you go to settings-Safari and cleat history and website data, this will clear up anything left from them.

Change block cookies setting to "Allow from current website only".
I find those settings have not caused any problems and have less junk thrown at me.
Don't worry, your phone does not have a virus, it's just a scam.
There are no known virus that can affect iPhones.
Those popups are always scams.
