The links I add i iBook Author don´t work on my iPad.

I´m trying to link from photographs in my book that I create in iBooks Author, to pages within the same book. I mark the picture and use the hyperlink inspector to add a page. It seems to be working fine on my Mac, but when I try to preview it on my iPad it doesn´t work at all. What am I doing wrong?
