To delete an Apple ID / account. There is no way to delete it entirely but some things you can do to leave it useless. Here are some ideas.

This is the error I have received.The Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store. Please review your account information.It's asking for my credit card information. And I can't change it to None.

Mar 15, 2015 8:45 PM in response to raditzka69by gail from maine,Right, if the Apple ID is already set up, then you cannot change it to None until you put a credit card on the account.
If you set up a brand new Apple ID by first downloading a Free app, and then setting up the ID as a part of that process, then it can be None.
