I understand that some Family Sharing content is not showing on your daughter's iTunes account. I would first make sure that Parental Controls or Restrictions are not enabled.

If the issue still persists, try going through the troubleshooting steps in the article below.
If you don't see your family's shared content

If I had copied the music from a CD into my library, rather than downloading it from the iTunes store, do you think that would be why she can't access all of my music?

Thank you for the follow-up. Yes, this would be the reason that she is not able to see your music. Family sharing is limited to purchased iTunes content. The only other solutions that I could recommend would be syncing with your iTunes library or she can access your music via Home Sharing. Here is some additional information regarding these options.
