REALLY Slow Editing a Specific iWeb Page

I've been a loyal iWeb user for ages, but this one has me stumped.

I have home page on one of my sites -- some travel photos and some text -- but when I try to edit the text it is PAINFULLY slow. You type two words and have to wait for 30 seconds for it to actually appear on the screen.

Any ideas? Could it have something to do with those photos on the screen -- are they trying to "re-draw" every time I add three letters.

Every other page on the site is easily edited. Other sites are OK too.

Your words of wisdom welcome here!
