Q: Using notes without an apple email address

I am trying to use notes with my apple id and it will not accept my password, does it need my apple id password or my email server password?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Hello BlackJoe,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you want to access notes on iCloud but it does not accept your password. You want to know what password to use. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

iCloud: Notes overview
To access iCloud Notes on iCloud.com, go to icloud.com/#notes and sign in using your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud).

iCloud: Change your iCloud password
Go to the My Apple ID website (appleid.apple.com) and follow the instructions to reset your Apple ID password.
