I understand you purchased the song on your iPhone 6. How did you get the song on your computer to sync it with your iPod Classic? Does the song play on your computer?
You may need to delete the song on your computer, redownload the purchased content to your computer, and try the sync again.

Mar 16, 2015 2:56 PM in response to judysingsby bubbles0,Hi Judy, thanks for your help. I synced the iPod to my Mac. Yes it plays fine on the Mac, and phone etc, just not on iPod For some reason. I have tried to delete it through iTunes from the iPod but it won't let me do anything to the stuff on iPod. It appears faded.

This may seem like an elementary question ... but did you restart the iPod before syncing again? Sometimes that is all it takes to refresh things.
I've got a few more suggestions for you in the article below. Restoring the iPod is the last step, and may not be something you want to do for only one song.

Mar 24, 2015 12:52 PM in response to judysingsby bubbles0,THanks again Judy for your help. I have now turned off iPod & restarted. The song is still showing twice bu neither play. I've checked the link you sent but If I delete the song from my library I'll have to purchase it again. The song is fine on my phone & iPad. Maybe I'll try re syncing now I've restarted it. Thank you for your help, if you have any other ideas , suggestions be very happy to hear them. Thanks again for all your help.
