i forgot the code for an ipod nano. i have not used it for 4 years due to this. Now i have given it to my daughter and wanted to start afresh. I have dowloaded itunes again on the new computer and have uploaded a cd but it will not transfer onto the ipod. Is it possible for the ipod to work again as it just shows a padlock and combination screen. help please!

You can start fresh on your iPod nano to get passed that security code. To do that, put it in Disk Mode by following the steps in the article below depending on what version of iPod nano you have. Once it is in Disk Mode, plug it in to your computer to restore it. When you do this, it will erase everything off the iPod nano so you will need to sync what music you want for her on to it.
