I have tried everything to reconnect my Apple TV to my Television but replacing it. The light on the unit will not go solid what could have cause this?

Try unplugging it, the TV, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in. See appropriate troubleshooting.

Thanks Eric . But I had to restore my Apple TV using a Standard USB/ Micro USB cable . it is now working again and I'm a happy person again. House of Cards just started again.
