Q: My Apple TV won't connect to my iMac via micro USB.  I'm not able to restore my Apple TV.  I only get the apple logo and light blinking.

I got the blinking light on my apple TV and the apple logo on the screen.  I tried to follow the instructions to restore, but my apple tv won't connect to iTunes via microUSB to neither an imac or a pc.

    This may not be entire related to your scenario but I would just chime in on a subtle point. I have had similar problem. iTunes was not detecting the Apple TV which I was trying to perform a reset on. I was able to do that at the apple service center and suspect that it was due to the lack of Internet connectivity. the reset process involves verification so the computer you are connecting your Apple TV to will need to have Internet connectivity.
