Q: When is backup done?
OK, here goes. I plugged my iPhone into my IMac, started ITunes and initiated a sync. The last time I updated my iPhone software I had to dump my music to get the room for an install. I decided to restore it.
There was a circular arrow icon spinning next to the iPhone icon on the left hand side of the screen, and it's still there, spinning.
At the top of the screen there was a progress bar and some text that would say, "Step 1 of 7, Step 2 of 7, etc.," but now it's gone.
I did get a warning that it could not back up all my music because there wasn't enough room and the bar graph on the bottom of the screen says "over capacity by 749.5 MB" in the audio area.
So, at what point is it safe to yank the plug? Will a message eventually come up that says it's ok to disconnect?
