Q: FaceTime activation error

I am unable to activate FaceTime and Imessage on my Iphone 6. My carrier has confirmed that the SMS activation is being sent to the apple servers. I'm not sure how to resolve this problem.

    Hi nithyav,

From your post I see that you're unable to activate both iMessage and FaceTime on your iPhone.  The article you were looking at before has additional troubleshooting steps for you to follow through in order to resolve this issue.

I have the same issue and till to-date could not resolve the issue, I have tried all steps mentioned by the apple support team with no success. I have two devices using same apple ID and were working fine till last week when the date light saving issue started in Egypt, I adjusted the time manually and since then iMessage & face time not working through telephone number. my emails appear in my "send & receive" but my number appears in grey and unchecked. I checked from the Mobinil (operator) as well and my message service is working fine and I am receiving and able to send text message with out any problem. Please advise.
