Bluetooth Keyboard must be re-paired every time.

I checked AD for this specific problem but could not find answers. Batteries are fresh. I connect fine as if pairing for the first time. However, when I turn off the keyboard for the day and then try to reconnect, it won't. I have to remove the keyboard icon and start again. I'm wondering if the keyboard has just gone south. I am still within my warranty...I think. Thanks!

MacBook Air 11" Mid 2013.-OTHER, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
