unknown error (-1) on MB528LL trying to update software

My current version is 2.2.1 and trying to update to latest version. I keep getting unknown error message (-1) every time it tries to update. Tried to different laptops and same thing.

iPod touch, Windows Vista

Error (-1)

Try on another computer

Also see:

iOS: If you can't back up or restore from a backup in iTunes

Then see:

-1 error

-1 error too

If still problem that means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
