Q: iPad, cannot control volume after 8.2 update

After updating my iPad to 8.2 last night, I am now no longer able to control the volume. The volume will randomly go up and down fairly often on its own, and nothing I do seems to prevent this from. I've turn the iPad off and back on numerous time, but to no avail. Any help wold be appreciated.

I understand that you are not able to adjust the volume on your iPad after updating. I have a couple of suggestions for you to try. First, take a look at your sound settings. It is possible that the setting to use the side buttons to change volum were changed during the update, see "Change your sound settings" in the following article and make sure the "Change with Buttons" toggle shows green.

If that doesn't work, I would suggest a reset of the iPad, see this article for how to do it.
