iOS 8.2 Siri voice input error

I have the same issue. If you use Siri in messages, safari, iMessage it works fine as before.

So now I use Telegram that works great with no iOS 8.2 issues and I can send a picture directly to a contact.

The problem is in whatsapp with 8.2. Siri stops after 8 words dictation.

I think we need an update from a whatsapp developer. I still hope they add the picture to contact feature as other apps like telegram yet do.

I had this problem too but discovered it was only when I was dictating without access to WiFi. As soon as I tried it within a WiFi zone, it worked properly.

I have the same problem independently I'm connected through wifi or 3G/LTE.

After upgrading to iOS 8.2 on iPhone 5s, Siri is not functioning in Safari. I dictate using Siri, and it starts to write words but almost instantaneously deletes them. It happens on multiple websites. Thanks for fixing tips.

Definitly the same problem here with iphone 6 and iOS 8.2 and apps that do not come from apple, i.e. whatsapp, dictation in a browser (blogs).

Same here. Dictation in Whatsapp stops after 6-7 words. Not resolved by iOS 8.3. either. Have not tried other apps much, so can't swear to it it not being just a Whatsapp problem, but it annoys the heck out of me. I was really using dictation a lot.

I improved/corrected this by doing a hard reset, pushing/holding the home/Siri button and the lock button at the same time and rebooting. It made it better but the delay between the time Siri stops accepting input and the ding telling you it stopped is too long.
