Compatibility of lightning to 30-pins adapter with Camera Connection

Hello,

I had an iPad 2 with the 30-pin connection and used previous camera connection kit, which I used to download photos to my iPad. This kit has both an USB adapter and a SD card reader.

Recently I upgraded to an iPad Air2 with lightning connector, and I was wondering if I buy the lightning to 30-pin adapter to use the camera connection kit I already own, or I should buy the new lightning to USB camera or SD reader adapters?

Anyone is using correctly that combination (lightning to 30-pin adapter + 30-pin camera connection kit)?
