My iPhone 5c screen turns purple if I put brightness up

Hello, I'm having trouble with my iPhone 5c, these days I've noticed that when I'm using my iphone and I have white color on the screen, it leaves white lines that cross the screen and after some minutes the touchscreen would not respond and I was forced to block it yo fix the problem. Then I had to put more brightness on the screen and suddenly it turned purple and I couldn't do anything, was forced to put the brightness on minimal to use the phone without issues, what's going on?

Hi LordCenarius,

I understand that you are experiencing some screen issues on your iPhone. That does sound troublesome. You may want to review the article below as it may help you find a solution:

If your screen is too dim, too bright, or you see only faint images

  1. Try to adjust the brightness. If the screen doesn’t respond when you adjust the brightness, open several apps to make sure it’s not an issue with only one app.
  2. If you have a screen protector, try removing it. Try removing your case if it includes a screen protector.
  3. If you see the issue in multiple apps, restart your device.
  4. If restarting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
  5. If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.

If you see a solid color screen (black, white or blue)

  1. Plug in your device to a power source. If you see the low-battery screen when you plug in, let your device charge for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad) before using it.
  2. Reset your device while it's plugged in.
  3. If resetting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
  4. If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.

If you see lines, missing sections, discoloration, or poor image quality

  1. Try to restart your device. If you can't restart, reset your device.
  2. If restarting or resetting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
  3. If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.
