Are the students outside United States eligible for education discounts in Apple US?

The situation would likely warrant that she buy it in US,

since it cannot be shipped outside this country to you

when you or another person are not in the US.

So that is why there are various Apple Stores in other

countries. The Apple Store US does not ship elsewhere.

Once a computer is purchased, travel is not a problem.

The localized version of the computer may have keyboard

options and so forth, for the region outside the US where

it was bought; so if a Spanish setup is desired, they can

do that in the US store, or custom order one.

Sometimes there may be a slight difference in price based

on country for products in the online Stores due to minor

exchange rates; but for the most part you get similar prices

in most places. So that probably is the best for her, him, &

you since the unit can be checked out by a retail Apple Store

person and even set up for your brother, if he's at the store.

It is possible to arrange to have a new computer set up and

checked over, right in the official Apple Store. Ask ahead.
