Album sharing expired

I Created an album to share a trip photos. A new person invited can't access the album and gets a message that reads "this album is no longer shared". Are shared albums good for a certain time only? What can I do to keep the album shared?

Hi drotaibi,

I understand you invited someone to access an album that you had previously been sharing with others and they received an error message.

Is it possible that the album has been deleted or moved? If not, try resending the invitation. Take a look at the article below. I've highlighted the key information here for you. Click on the article for complete details.

Someone sent me a link to a shared album, but when I click the link a message appears that says the album is no longer shared.

If the album owner deleted the album or removed you from the subscribers list, you'll get a message that "This photo album is no longer shared."

Contact the owner of the shared album to ask if it's been deleted or to request a new invitation.

How do I re-invite someone to a shared album

On your iOS device:

  1. Tap Photos.
  2. Tap the Shared tab, then tap Sharing. (In iOS 7 or earlier, tap Streams).
  3. Tap a shared album.
  4. Tap the People tab.
  5. Tap the person's name in the list of subscribers.
  6. Tap Resend Invitation.
  7. If you previously removed this person from the list of subscribers, tap Invite People, enter their email address, then tap Add.

Have a great day!

I am having the same issue too. I know for a fact I know what I am doing, as I have done it quite a few times and am familiar with the process. I am both the one creating the album on one side, and attempting to accept it on the other. I have recreated the folder several times. I have tried to add people to folders that already exist (they just never get the notification). iCloud Photo Sharing *IS* broken. This is an apple issue, not a user/keyboard interface error.

I would like to know when this will be fixed. It is very frustrating trying to use a service when I pay extra for additional iCloud storage, only to not be able to use it due to apple's error. A prompt reply would be appreciated.
