OSX 10.10.2 Yosemite Slow Reboot Problem

Millions of mac units have been upgraded to OS X 10.10.2 Yosemite and rebooting process takes 42 seconds on average instead 20 + . The reason is still unknown

but more likely new OS X all fix the problem . It also appears that SSD macs didn't suffer from this issue so it is mainly affecting on regular hard drive base mac units.

you can do better apple ... we are waiting for new OSX...

Reset the SMC and NVRAM if you haven't already. Check out this article for more information about the startup process. Make sure your software is up-to-date. If you're still having trouble, backup your data with Time Machine, boot to OS X Recovery, and reinstall the operating system.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
