Transferring Data from Samsung Intensity II to Mac

I have the Samsung Intensity II and it it currently in 'USB Download Mode'. I want to transfer files from my Mac to my phone, but when I plug in my cell phone into my computer it doesn't recognize it.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
