delayed email to me.com

For the past day or two I have gotten notices that my email to folks on me.com is delayed. Anyone else seeing this? Apple Server Status says all is well.

Thanks,

Gordon

I'm having the exact same issue, emails from Gmail and I think others aren't getting to me until hours or days after. I think they receive them in normal time, and I think I get emails from other .me accounts ok (I emailed myself and it came through quickly). Also emails from Apple to create a discussions account came through super fast and normal. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm in the process of loosing two new clients because of this so this could be a super bummer.

I am having the same issues over the past few days. I will get replies from a thread of many people where I never receive the original email until hours after it was sent. I receive all the replies from everyone else but not the original. I have gmail forwarding to my me.com address as I had switched over about a year ago. Some don't get through now and it's pretty frustrating.

This has only started happening over the past few days. I'd love to get some kind of acknowledgement saying that there have been some routing issues over the past week and they are sorting it. Anything, because if this is becoming the norm, then I'll have to stop using my mac email addresses.

This is an issue between Apple and Gmail mail servers that started at the end of last week. There are various threads here and on the google product forums about it.

How to fix this problem: Call Apple and report it 800-275-2273

Make sure you tell Apple that you're experiencing this across all devices (so it's an iCloud problem, not a device, OS, or software problem) and that it is specific to Gmail emails only, and it doesn't matter if the emails contain only one word of text or large attachments.

I just called them and got a case number. Spoke to a supervisor who said I was only the second person he had heard from with this problem, so unless more people call, they don't know it's an issue. (These boards are for DIY solutions; Apple doesn't read them.)
