I mean, I buy an Apple WATCH Sport with its sport band, but later I want a band of an Apple WATCH (the regular). Could I do that? Thanks for answer!
By contacting Apple Store (online main) about the Apple Watch questions
their sales support staff should be capable of answering these kinds of
inquiries leading up to the advance purchase date and eventual shipping.

As long as the band is for the same SIZE watch (38mm or 42mm), yes, all of the bands are interchangeable with each other. You can put a Sport band on an Edition or a Leather Loop on a Sport.
I asked that exact question at my fitting appointment, and was told that was NOT the case. I specifically asked if I would be able to put a Milanese Loop band on my Sport watch face, and was told that I would not be able to do that, and the bands are not compatible between Sport, Watch, and Edition. I'm hoping that what I was told isn't true, but there's obviously some misinformation out there among Apple Store employees.
They were mistaken. If that were the case, why can you put a sport band on the steel Watch? As long as it's the same SIZE watch, all of the bands are interchangable. Now, you can not ORDER the Sport Watch WITH the Millanese band. But you can definitely buy the band separately and change them out.
During my try on appointment, the employee changed the bands for me. He put on a leather "buckle" band on the sport as well as the leather loop. There was a bit of a difference with the buckle band as the brackets are stainless steel and the sport watch body is aluminum so there is a little bit of a contrast .
The employee swapped a 42mm band for a 38mm on a 42mm watch since he didn't have the band I wanted to try on in 42mm. It obviously appeared a bit odd, however, gave me an idea as to the fit on wrist.
they all fit, but some of them won't look good with he sport as they have shiny bits on the buckle that will look like it doesn't match the aluminum body.
Apple has confirmed that any band of the same size will work on any Apple Watch. I ordered a could Spigen Watch Bands for $15 a piece. The Apple ones are so freaking expensive!
