Q: Boot Camp Control Panel Windows 7 64Bit

I have Mid-2012 Macbook Pro with a SSD drive installed. I installed a fresh windows 7 64bit pro and now I get this error when trying to open the bootcamp control panel.

"an error occurred while trying to access the startup disk settings"

I want to be able to right click Restart in Mac OS X but this doesn't work. It boots to a white screen and then it goes to windows again.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), 2007 Macbook Pro

Yosemite can use a CoreStorage volume which has no drivers on the Windows side (yet!).

If you stop the service and change it run as yourself and restart it, do you get the same error message when you click on the Restart in OS X option?

As a test, stop the service. Click on the BC Icon in system tray, and choose Restart in OS X? Please post any error messages.

Thing is I never get an error it just does a white screen and then boots into Windows.

If you get a white screen, the Mac is trying to boot and trying to switch. It is possible that the 'bless' command has failed. Can you check Applications -> Utilities -> Console and check in the logs for any errors?

Can you check permissions and security for bootcamp.exe in c:\Program Files\bootcamp?
