Mar 15, 2015 4:43 PM in response to Demoby Mishkapatches,Thank yiou, but part of that didn't work. It says to hold down the move icon than uncheck the top email but it didn't work. do have any idea if deleting all that mail will free up space? That's my goal here for my iPad

Mar 15, 2015 5:11 PM in response to Mishkapatchesby Demo,★HelpfulLike I said, I don't use that suggestion but I have seen others swear by it. But if your goal is to free up space on your iPad, my guess is that mail isn't taking up as much space as you think that it is. If you are cutting it that close on storage, there are other ways to clear content.
Go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage> You can swipe through that list and see how much space each app is using. You can also see how much space mail is using.
You can delete unused apps by tapping the app name and then delete it in the next window. You can also delete watched TV shows and videos if you have them safely stored in your iTunes library. Most TV shows and videos can be downloaded again using the same ID that you bought them with - as long as they are still available in iTunes, but I would prefer to see you transfer them into iTunes before you delete them from the iPad.
Camera roll photos can take up a lot of space and those can be imported to your computer and then deleted from the iPad. That can free up a lot of space if you have lots of photos.

Mar 15, 2015 9:29 PM in response to Demoby Mishkapatches,Hi....thank you so much for your help. I have used 7.3 GB I have 5.3 left. Is that still considered ok? I have no photos, pics or videos stored on this devIce and not a whole lot of apps thats effecting this. the only thing I see is one magazine in my new stand. It's Entertsinment Weekly and I have about 3 years of back issues which I really like having. That's taking up 2.7 GB. Google takes up 670 MB.
Your reply is much appreciated.
am I very low on memory?

Mar 16, 2015 3:13 AM in response to Mishkapatchesby Demo,If you have a 16GB iPad, I think that you are fine right now. It just depends on what else you decide to load onto your device, but now you know how to delete content or transfer it into iTunes, so if you run low again, you can also get rid of apps or photos to make more space on the iPad.
Don't worry about your free space now.enjoy using your iPad.
