Retina iMac 3tb Fusion drive Boot Camp failure

Trying to install Windows 8.1 to a 1tb Bootcamp partition on 3tb Fusion drive. BCA creates the partition, Windows installer sees it, but requires formatting it, but then it can't install to it. I get an error that it can't create or see the partition. I'm assuming this has to do with BCA creating the partition someplace Windows can't handle it (past the first 2.2tb of the drive).

Here is the info requested in a previous thread.

I think the original set of commands failed because I needed to remove the logical volume group first, not the individual volumes within it. When I went to Disk Utility and erased the outermost partition, the one labeled disk1s4, and it gave me an error, it changed position. Instead of being inset underneath Macintosh HD, it was aligned with it, like it was a separate disk. I think Disk Utility must have turned it into it's own LVG for some reason. Anyway, after nuking both volume groups, everything went swimmingly. It's back to a single drive with both disk0s2 and disk1s2 in it.

I'll post here if the Apple engineers solution works out for setting up the Bootcamp partition. They're supposed to call me this weekend.
