Q: Updated iPhone 6 to 8.2 and Now Memory Has Disappeared

I recently updated my iPhone 6 to 8.2 and everything seemed fine at first. Now I'm getting messages that I've run out of memory. My phone is 64 GB, and except for the ios, I have about 25 GB of apps, music, books, etc. I'm getting messages that I have 74 MB of storage left, and I can't figure out what's going on. I'd like to go back to 8.1, though if I can make 8.2 work I would be ok with keeping it.

Is anyone else having this experience? Has anything fixed it?

If I do want to reinstall 8.1 are there good instructions someone can point me to for how to do this? My phone is practically unusable at this point.

You can find out what is taking up space on your iPhone by viewing the Usage in your General Settings. Just go Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage, and you will see a breakdown of what is taking up the space on your iPhone.

You cannot go back, and the version is not the problem. My phone actually GAINED free memory after the update. There's something else going on with your phone.
