Q: How to silence notifications while still letting them display

Is there a tweak or some way to silence notifications (like do not disturb) but still let them come through as banners and light up my screen when it's off? So it will let banners and notifications come through but not make a sound at night? Thanks!

Also, this question isn't specific to iPad is there some iOS forum to post to?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 8.1.2, Jailbroken

If you are just talking about at night, why not just use the Control Center to mute the iPad?

You can use the side switch to mute all sound (this doesn't mute alarms). If you would like to mute sound for certain apps, tap on Settings and go to Notifications. Select the app and change Notification Sound to None.
