siri stops after 3-4 words on iphone 4S

Hi. I use an iPhone 4S, osx 8.2. In former times and a good data or wifi-connection I could dictate within e-mails or WhatsApp a lot of sentences without problems. On low connectionspeed, siri stopped writing what was dictated and showed the little icon that it is still working, and somtimes kept on going. So far so good.

Since the latest OS update I have the following problem:

Siri writes 3-4 words and stops. No icon, no showing that it is still looking up data in the background. I can hit the micro again, dictate a sentens, but after 3-4 words: Stop.

Where could the bug be?

Hi jabed. Good hint, I just tested within e-mail and safari, and there it seems to work.

So I guess we have an os 8.2 - whatsapp problem here.

As an update: Dictated stuff is also doubled from time to time.

No it is not only with whatsapp! It is with notes, email, texting, web searches and form filling on both my brand new iPhone 6 and my brand new iPad mini 3, which are both updated to the latest iOS. I rely on dictating everything. This is a Siri-ous problem.

huntfore, this maybe the case with your devices.

But here in my case it is a whatsapp - siri problem.

Everywhere else, dictation is fully functional.

I am having a similar problem with Siri when using the navigation capability in Maps with iOS 8.2 on my iPhone 6 plus. When Siri announces turn by turn the sentences are cut off, usually two or three words at the beginning of the sentence. I haven't noticed this problem with other Siri applications.

My Google navigation app works as it should.

WIth the latest update, Siri and Whatsapp work together again.

But: now messaging no longer works.

I receive no lock- or homescreen messages any more about incoming messages.

I have to open Whatsapp manually to see if someone wrote
