Yes as stated above, updated to ios 8.2 on my 6plus 64gb and over 30gb of free space suddenly disappeared and now i get constant notifications that my storage is full and that i have to manage this and that.... anyone else have this problem..?

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.
If this does not help, setting it up as new device would be the next step:

If still no luck, set it back to factory settings, without using the latest backup and add the rest of the details manually. If the phone works after that, restore from the backup. If the problem comes back, the backup contained damaged data, causing this issue.

thank you! that worked. I did reset my phone as new and then used my latest sync to get almost everything back the way it was.. Lost all my health data though which is a drag...

Health data can also be backed up to iCloud. As my device automatically backs up every night, my Health data should be quite up to date.
And, from time to time I also back up to iTunes, just in case...😉
