I've lost all my Email history (MS Office for mac...OUTLOOK) suddenly!!

I've been using MS Outlook on my 27" iMac (10.10.2 yosemite) and I've suddenly lost all my Email history. The email account is OK, and i can still send/receive emails. My contacts (Outlook) have also gone! Is it all hidden on my Mac? Any advice most welcome....theorganiste
