Coretime.ips log after iOS 8.2 update

iOS 8.2 generate ''Coretime********.ips.synced'' log file every day in crash logs. Log file includes events for one day from 00:00 am to 11:59 pm.

Looks like to ''stacks+backboard'' error in iOS 8.0-8.1 😕.

All iOS 8.2 devices are affected.

You are right, I have the same issue with with iPad Mini 2 and iPhone 5S. My battery life is awful, and it is draining all the day along. Even when I don't use my iPhone, I lose 3% per hour, and a lot more when in use. I'm getting really tired of this CoreTime.ips.synced, and I searched for hours whithout finding any solution. I'm actually in touch with Apple, I hope they will find a solution … I will post it here, if there is a solution of course …

I have the same issue with my iPhone 6. Even after 8.3 and 8.4 update no resolve. Restored in iTunes and set up as a new device multiple times, no resolve.

But then I restored and set up as new, and did not enable Location Services during the setup assistant, and manually added it once setup. No more CoreTime.ips crash logs. It must have failed to connect correctly during the setup manager.

i have coretime, jesam, resetcounter and stacks(1970). replaced battery yesterday since the phone drained in 5 hours in aeroplane mode. please advice if theres a fix!:) the new battery improved the issue, but now the battery last in standby for six hours. a normal aeroplane mode on my 3GS is roughly a week and i use this as my daily "ipod" 😀

This is not the fix. I have disabled and still get coretime error logs. I have searched posts, blogs, support, etc and still no resolution. I am not sure if this is the same for you guys, but I have two entries daily at 7:00pm EST. One coretime for iPhone6 and one coretime for my AppleWatch. It is quite annoying. I called Apple support and they stated they are not aware of the issue.

I am also on iOS 9.2.1

one day after my apple care was expired my phone was making weird feedback/static type noise and my speaker stopped working, i had to do a hard reset! I also completed the update and my battery life lasts no longer than 3-5 hours! I've called apple to see if my 5s fell under the recall but it was not! I also contacted Apple to figure out why my battery life is not lasting they also said they would help figure out for me they did a battery diagnostic which was good then as soon as I told him I was getting the core time logs they told me I did everything they would've told me to do. ive tried resetting my phone as well as restoring my phone and told me there wasn't anything else they could do . It just seems really weird that the day after my AppleCare expired I started having issues, with my phone. It appears to me it's definitely the update with what im reading online, why can't this be fixed? After spending 1000 on a phone this is ridiculous! I've also tried getting the battery replaced and it did not fix the issue at all.

I am also getting the CoreTime events plus I get JetSam events. One thing I did notice is I have my Ipad set to do an auto wifi backup with my MacBook Air and my iPad hasn't been opened during the same time I have been using my Air. I actually forgot that I set that up. I set it up when I forgot my password on my iPad and had to completely delete and reintall everything. Nothing reminded me either. I can't click on the backup buttons and it says it will backup when my iPad has access to my MacBook Air again when my errors look like they started right around the last time the iPad backed up. I'm going to turn off the auto backup to the MacBook Air and see if that is the issue. You may check and see if you happened to enable the auto backup over wifi to a computer instead of the cloud or possibly both. I think backing up to the cloud will work better that way the cloud is always available unlike a laptop when it's closed or off a backup can't take place. I would imagine that would drain a battery pretty quick if an iPad or iPhone was trying to find the computer it is suppose to backup to and it's not available. It would be like a phone searching for a cell phone signal. This is something that could go on a long time without being noticed. I don't get errors I just happened to click into diag where you enable the device to send reports to Apple. Good luck hope this backup thing fixes the issues.

it turns out that turning off the auto sync and update in iTunes on my MacBook worked. I m not getting those errors now. I noticed it was creating several of those error messages everyday since I switched off the wifi sync I haven't had any the CoreTime or JetSam error messages sent to Apple support. I would suggest if you're still getting the error msg see if you have the auto sync turned on in iTunes. Everything is synced with iCloud now so the auto sync isn't really needed but make sure you enable your backups.
