Keyboard issues in iOS

Hi,

I write on my iPad using a physical Apple bluetooth keyboard with a Swedish keyboard layout. However, I usually write in English on my iPad. The problem is that when I choose the English keyboard in iOS, to get English spell checking as well as English-style citation marks, the keyboard layout of my Swedish keyboard is no longer valid.

Is there a way to inform iOS that I am writing in English but using a Swedish external keyboard?

P.S. I do most of my writing in Word and Ulysses for the iPad.

I have exactly the same problem. In the settings you can set the hardware keyboard for English language, but, alas, there is no Swedish/Finnish option. What I've done, is to turn of text correction, which is a drag, but at least I can have the physical keyboard now produce what is printed on the keycaps.

Not until Apple offers Swedish as an option in the Hardware section of the English keyboard choices. You can ask for that via
