I updated iTunes to 12.1.1 and now I cannot seem to remove albums from compilations. The box that you could tick or untick that said "part of compilation" has been removed as far as I can see.
Has anyone experienced the same problem and has a solution to the problem?

I have several songs that my iPhone insists are compilations, but they are not. I can't get them to not show up under compilations. Even after checking, syncing, and unchecking the compilations button in iTunes. I have even tried converting them to mp3 - same problem. How can I convince my iPhone that these random albums are not compilations? None of them have "Various Artist" anywhere btw
The setting is still there, now labeled "Album is a compilation of songs by various artists". You may need to scroll down the Get Info window, or expand it by dragging on the bottom right corner, to make the field visible.

Try setting a common Album Artist, and clear Album is a compilation... if set.
