How do I stream from my MAC book pro to my Samsung smart tv

I have a 55" Samsung Samrt TV model # UN55H6203AF and I am wanting to stream from my macbook Pro to the TV. Does anyone know how to do this? I thing I need an extra HDMI cable, but How do I hook that up from the computer to the TV?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.


If you want to stream to your TV from your MacBook Pro, then you would need an Apple TV. However if you just want to use your TV as a secondary display, you can use a cable to connect to your TV. I don't know what model of MacBook Pro you have, but if you take a look at the information in the links below, you can find out what your model supports and requires to connect.
