My computer is non-responsive to holding the option key upon re-booting. It does continue to flash the "?" and the folder icon but nothing else. Is there any other suggestions in order to initiate my Startup Manager?

Sorry, forgot to clarify - Already attempted to follow those directions but my computer wont respond to holding down my Option key. I'm looking for another way to potentially access my Startup Manager.
Try holding down Command + R when you shut down and restart. If that does not work then your HD may have crashed, if it's under warranty or AppleCare or even if it's not, contact your local Apple Store or AASP for service.
