how do i move things to the cloud
I want to move things from my mac book and my iPad into the cloud. I have 200 gigs of cloud space and only using 17 gigs. I don't know how to move things to the cloud

There are two ways to store things in iCloud - iCloud Drive and iCloud Photo Library (Beta).
- You can store all kinds of documents on iCloud Drive by dragging the documents to the iCloud Drive icon in the Finder sidebar on your Mac, see: iCloud Drive FAQ
iCloud Drive will update the documents across all your devices, but i will keep shadow copies on the devices. You will not free space by moving documents to iCloud Drive. - iCloud Photo Library (Beta). lets you store your photos in iCloud and keep only optimised, smaller versions on the devices, but it is only available on your iPad, iPhone.
