I got an email saying my Apple account was going to be suspended unless I validated through an email. Is this legit? I did go on line and update my info, but I'm not convinced that was actually from Apple.

It was not legitimate, you just gave info to a criminal. Change everything that you gave him.
It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message to Apple.

I did not give 'info to a criminal'. I went directly to Apple's site, logged in, and updated my info. I'm not that stupid

I was not sure if it was legit,(the email) which is why I navigated to their site directly. I knew my info needed updating because I recently relocated. I just wanted to know if the email was legit. Turns out it wasn't. I was tipped off by bad grammer in the initial email.
