Q: Just bought a refurbished MB Air, want to copy my Clone Drive (of my MB Pro) to the Air's SSD- what is the most efficient way to do this?

I work as a professional music producer and songwriter. I use a Macbook Pro (Late 2011) as my main workstation. It runs on OSX Lion (10.7.5), as I still use Logic Pro 9. I travel quite a bit, so I recently bought a refurbished Macbook Air 11" (Mid 2012), solely for the purpose of starting ideas while on the road. The MB Air however came with Yosemite installed, and that is an unstable system for me to run Logic Pro 9. I have a clone drive of my MBP, and I would like to erase the contents of the Air's SSD and copy the contents of the clone drive to the Air, so I have 2 identical systems. What is the most efficient way to do this?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
