Mar 17, 2015 10:22 PM in response to gail from maineby niyaya,Thank you for the quick response.
I click the download button, and it goes to download, but at end end, it sometimes says "fail", sometimes says "open". But if I click on the "open", nothing opens up, and there is still a cloud sing on the right corner of my book.

Mar 17, 2015 10:35 PM in response to niyayaby gail from maine,See if this support article helps (you may have an interrupted download):
iBooks: How to resume interrupted iBooks Store downloads on your Mac - Apple Support
If that doesn't help, sign out of the iBooks store and then back in again and try again.

Mar 18, 2015 4:34 AM in response to niyayaby niyaya,Thanks guys for your posts, but I'm giving up on it.
Tried logging in and out. Didn't work.
Tried transferring purchases from iPhone to mac via iTunes. Didn't work.
One thing did change however, which is now in iTunes on the mac, I can see the book under the Settings/Books section ( i think it means I have this book on the mac). If I delete the book on iPhone, I can succesfully regain it by syncing from mac to iPhone using iTunes. But the fact is, I don't have the book in iBooks on mac. It still has this cloud icon in the upper right corner. And no matter how many times I tried to download it, it just didn't work.
Too frustrating to fix this problem. I guess I'm better off just viewing it on the phone.
Thanks guys for your help again!

Mar 18, 2015 7:17 AM in response to niyayaby gail from maine,One other thing you can try:
In iTunes on the Mac, click on Books and under the Quick Links section click on Purchased. Click on Not in My Library (or Not on this Computer - whatever the "Not" is), and see if the book shows up there. If it does, try downloading it from there and see what happens.
Cheers,
