Q: iOS 8.1.3 update of iPhone 5 using iTunes would not work-had to delete Apps-460 MB available on iPhone 5

Tried to update my iPhone 5 when the Update notice was received but there was not enough free space to allow the Update. I tried the suggestion of using iTunes, to the letter, three times before I deleted several Apps on my iPhone 5.  I then tried the Update again on iTunes. The download seems to have stopped on iTunes after 30 minutes.  iTunes says on the iPhone 5 screen, "iOS 8.1.3, iTunes is downloading a software update for this iPhone and will install it when the download is complete." The "Update" and "Restore iPhone" buttons are greyed out.  I turned my iPhone 5 on and went to Settings to check the Version. It says "8.1.3" and the Software Update still says "1". Now says there is an iOS update to download and install "iOS 8.2".  I tried doing the "Download Only" on iTunes and received an error of "1671". I opened the "More Information" option in the window and it took me to Resolve iOS update and restore errors in iTunes - Apple Support . I haven't been notified of any OS X update but a check of "About This Mac" says I need to Update my iMac's Safari to a Security Update. Is there NO END to this madness? The iPhone Update shows "2 Hours Remaining".

I am going to bed and continue this battle later.

When I try to post this it says the community it is trying to post to, "iPhone", which DOESN'T EXIST!  Soooo, I click the search for any community close to where I should be and, there is NO "iOS" Community, even when I try the Search. So "Hi" fellow Yosemite users!  Sorry I am here but could someone please move this to an iOS Community, or iPhone 5 community, or wherever you want to place me.

Thanks!

Andy
