Q: Something wrong with my iPhone's handoff

My iPhone5 has been used for about 2 years, it used to be great till recent.

After Handoff had been released, I just found the bluetooth of my iPhone5 couldn't connect to my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013).

The bluetooth of my Mac can connect to Magic Trackpad but just can't connect to my iPhone5.

Thus I can't use Handoff to use my iPhone's Internet directly.

My iPhone5's version is iOS 8.2, and my Mac's version is OS X Yosemite 10.10.2

Does anyone know what happen and tell me how to fix it?

Hi Edwards,

To make sure we are on the same page, you are having issues with using Continuity and to be more specific, the Personal Hotspot feature with your IPhone and MacBook Pro. Well when using Personal Hotspot in general does not require you to pair your iPhone directly to your MacBook Pro like you would with your Magic Trackpad. All you need to do is look for your iPhone in the Wi-Fi menu of your Mac and it should pair if you have everything set right.
