If you're not hearing any audio from items plugged in to the headphone jack on your iPod nano, then please follow the information below.
Acoustics
Follow these steps if there's no sound coming from your headphones.*
- Verify that the headset is plugged in to the iPod .
- Check the volume setting.
- Try adjusting the volume by pressing the volume buttons.
- Try another song or audio file.
- Try another headset.
- Reset iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and Home buttons until you see the Apple logo appear.
