Can't copy Loops from Logic Pro 9 into Logic Express 9

I copied loops from my friend's version of Logic Pro 9 into my Logic Express 9 Loops Browser. I see the new Loops in the browser and I can hear the sound when I click on the new loop in the browser, but when I attempt to use the new loop in a new track it doesn't play, and I get an error message saying that I don't have the instrument (e.g., pipe organ). Is there any way that I can get the new loops to work in Logic Express 9. Yosemite is my operating system.
