Never ending circle. I'm on Chrome - Quicktime IS enabled under plugins... I use quicktime all the time ... I first noticed this when I tried to watch apple trailers... couldn't do it. 1. QT X version #?
  2. WHAT is giving you the "notifications" ?? OS X Software Update?
  3. Chrome - what version? If latest update, you do NOT have QT enabled - see > QuickTime 64-bit Chrome Plugin
  4. No plug-in in Chrome - Safari has not disclosed what its plans are for HTML5 specification standard
