Q: since Yosemite, my iMessage does not show my iPhone number to "Start new conversations from" nor is the phone number associated with my Apple ID listed to be reached for messages. I have done all the logging in and out of all devices as suggested.

Since Yosemite, my iMessage does not show my Apple ID associated iPhone number as an option to either be reached for message or "Start new conversation from" in iMessage setting. I have tried resetting on phone and on MacBook Air.

Hello artistMay2014,

I know you said you have restarted but have you slogged out of iMessage on your iPhone and then sign back in? When you do that on your iPhone, it will link your phone number again and then should update to your MacBook Air.
