Using iwork on icloud.com

Apologies if there is an obvious answer to this question but how the heck do i access iwork on icloud.com on my ipad? I have ios 8.2 installed and icloud/idrive setup (under settings). I keep seeing posts to go to icloud.com but when i do i get a page that offers me three choices. 1. Setup icloud on this device (which it is. 2. Install find my Phone and 3. Install Find my friends.

WHen i click on setup icloud on this device it just takes me through checking my setup which is correct. I then saw another post about upgrading to idrive from icloud and then pages, etc will be available when i go to icloud.com but i already have idrive active according to my settings. I don't have iwork installed on this device but i got the impression that wasn't needed to use the cloud versions of the software.

Do i have to install something?

I'm so confused.

That's not correct. The web versions of the iwork apps can only be used via a browser from a Mac or a PC, not from an iOS device. You have to install the iOS versions of the iWork apps.

Aaah yes, you are correct. I misread the iwork/icloud page. It mentions opening iwork files on an ios device but in re-reading the page it does say opening the files in the iwork 'apps' on an ios device.

But really? I can use my PC with iwork/icloud but not my ipad?! Kind of weird (IMHO). :-)
